“Stepping into Sundance Resort Tateshina felt like finding a quiet clearing in the forest, with spacious rooms that frame serene woodland views, occasionally graced by passing deer and raccoon dogs. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of massage chairs in the rooms, a welcome touch after a day's exploration, and the surprisingly generous size of the onsen baths. Though direct room bathrooms are absent, the communal onsen and private room toilets effectively manage the experience, complemented by genuinely delicious, hot buffet meals that allow for personal portion control.”
